Unique Pathway Experience (UPx) Admissions Process

We're thrilled to embark on this educational journey with you. Our admission process is designed to be straightforward, transparent, and Learner-centric. Let's walk through the steps to get started:

1. Attend an Individual Meeting:

  • It all begins with a conversation. Schedule an individual meeting with a friendly member of our UPx team to learn more about our innovative approach to education. We're here to answer your questions and provide insights into our learning model.

Special Note for Special Needs Applicants: During the webinar or individual meeting, families of Learners with special educational needs should inform our team of their child’s requirements. Following this conversation, families will be asked to submit relevant medical documentation, and we’ll coordinate a mandatory trial day to assess if our resources can adequately support the Learner.

2. Submit the Application Form:

  • Ready to take the next step? Once you've explored our offerings, you can complete our online application form. This initial step allows us to gather important information

English Placement Test for Non-Native English Speakers: If the applying Learner is a non-native English speaker or has not attended an English-speaking institution for at least two years, they will be required to complete an English proficiency test. After submitting the application form, the Learner will receive a link to book this test. If they pass, they will then be moving on to the next steps of the admissions process.

3. Review of Application:

  • Our admissions team will review the submitted application to ensure all requirements are met.

4. Receive Personalised Quote and Payment Details:

  • Following the review of your application, you'll receive a follow-up email. In this email, you'll find a personalised quote and the fee payment information. We aim to make this process as smooth as possible, ensuring you have all the necessary details at your fingertips.

6. Submit the Signed Personalised Quote:

  • Once you've reviewed the personalised quote and feel comfortable with our terms, go ahead and sign it. This signifies your official commitment to joining our UPx community.

7. Provide Proof of Payment:

  • We're almost there! The next step is to submit proof of payment for the fees associated with your chosen programme. This finalises the financial aspect of the admissions process.

8. Book the Brave House Accommodation (if applicable):

  • Our admissions team will send you an email with further information to book our Brave House, our accommodation provided by UPx, if this option was selected during your application.

9. Meet your Mentor and Receive Instructions for Day One:

  • Excitement is building! Before your first day with UPx, we'll send you a final email. This email will contain essential instructions for the first day. In addition, you will be invited to an onboarding meeting with your Mentor and Learning Coaches, during which you can get to know them and they will explain all of the relevant information regarding the course. This email will also include the details of your UPx journey, outlining your possibilities with the UPx route.  

10. Prepare for Your Journey:

  • Get ready to go! Make sure to prepare your flights and all necessary documentation, including visas, to ensure you can embark on this journey on the established start date. 

And that's it! You've successfully navigated the UPx admissions process. Get ready to embark on a transformative educational journey that combines rigorous academics with unparalleled cultural experiences across the globe!

When to Enrol

The great thing about UPx is that you can enrol at any time! We have no set start date as we're open throughout the year. You can enrol far ahead of time if you want to get a head start on things, or get things moving quickly to get in as soon as possible. It's entirely at your discretion.
